Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to bring with me to my appointment?
We advise that you check with your individual insurance company and find out coverage, copayments and any possible necessary referrals that you may need to bring to the office with you. Please ensure that you bring your insurance card and a valid form of identification. If you have lab results, imaging results or anything else that may be pertinent to your visit from another Physician, please bring that information with you to your appointment.
What should I expect during my visit?
Depending on your specific medical issue, each visit may vary. It is important that you be involved in your medical care and come prepared with any questions that you may have for your Physician. You may even want to bring in a friend or family member with you to help you remember everything that you would like to ask.
How can I get the most out of my visit?
Lubbock Surgical Associates wants you to remember that you and your physicians will work together in your health care. Do not be afraid to ask questions or to ask one of the doctors to repeat instructions or answers that you may not understand. We want you to be completely comfortable with the information that you receive while you are here.
When should I arrive for my appointment?
It is a good idea to arrive 10-15 minutes early for an appointment. This assures that you allow yourself time to fill out any necessary paperwork and to make sure that you have everything that you need for the appointment.
